Housing at the Hotel:$69.95 plus tax (approximately $79.00) per room – with up to 4 people per room. (You must make reservations directly with the hotel. Ask for the 2015 Recovery Conference Rate. If you are paying with cash there will be an additional deposit ($50 per room), refundable after the conference if their were no extra damages or expenses.)

2015 – Recovery Conference FAQ
Didn’t we use to have a three day conference instead of a two day conference? Yes, up until last year the conference was three days. Due to budget restraints the conference was reduced to two days and the venue was switched to the Best Western. We received much positive response to the new format and location and since funding options have not improved this year’s conference will also be two days.
Will the cost of the conference increase? The anticipated costs for the conference and housing are listed above but should be very close. The figures are provided so you can begin planning and budgeting. The CAC does not anticipate making any money on the conference and if any excess occurs it will go towards keeping down the cost of next years conference. This remains one of the least expensive consumer conferences in the country.
Will there be a dance? Yes!
Will there be a t-shirts? Yes!
Will there be exhibit tables? Yes, if you wish to exhibit information or sell items you may do so. No weapons or items of questionable taste may be sold if you questions refer them to the CAC for a decision. Can we register on line and pay with credit or debit cards? Yes, when registrations open you will be able to register either by mail or online and this year you may use a credit or debit card to pay for your registration.
Can I bring my service Dog or pet? Only Service dogs are allowed at conference activities. All other pets and emotional support animals are subject to hotel policies. Please check with the hotel for current policies!
Other Helpful Tips:
- Register in groups to keep your housing costs down and take advantage of early bird registration rates.
- Start setting aside money now for the conference and brainstorm with other consumers how you might raise money to attend the conference.
- If you can navigate stairs request a room on the second floor and save first floor rooms for those who can’t.
- All rooms and inside areas of the hotel are non-smoking, so if you smoke you may want to request a room with outside access.
